It’s official!
@hellenicbf Greek international Guard @vintsilaiou10 will join the Champions of Sweden @a3basketumea !
A3 Basket UMEA paid the buyout of Angeliki’s contract with @pasgianninawbc and signed her till the end of the season.
Angeliki’s leaving the Greek League as:
• 10th scorer (17.7 points per game)
• 1st in assists (7.3 assists per game)
• 1st in steals (4.3 steals per game)
• 1st Greek in Ranking (26.0 per game)
• 5th in Ranking overall (26.0/game)
• 1st in fouls drawn (6.3 per game)
While she was shooting 50.0% from the field & 80.0% from the free throw line.
• @vintsilaiou10 is the only Greek player with ‘Player of the Week awards’ (x2) the last two seasons in Greek League:
—> Round 9 (2019/20)
—> Round 2 (2020/21)
In previous stages of her career Angeliki was:
• All-Greek A1 League Newvomer of the Year (2019/20)
• 2nd most efficient Greek Scorer of A1 League (23.1 points per 40 minutes) in her rookie season (‘19-‘20)
• Member of Greek National Teams U16-U18-U20 & currently Women’s
• European Championships Assists Leader
• European Championships Steals Leader
• European Championships Honorable Mention
